The experiment was conducted at RARS, Parwanipur during winter seasons of 2001/02 and 2002/03. The treatment comprised of six promising oat varieties with three cutting managements viz, no cut, one cut and two cut. It was laid out in a factorial randomized block design with three replications. Irrespective of varieties, higher green forage yield ( 14.02 t/h) was obtained from two cut management practice than one cut (4.79 t/h) and the green forage yield increased with increasing number of cuttings…………..
