| Abstract: |
The present study was aimed at finding the association of different animal and management factors with the occurrence of pneumonia in goats based on diagnosis of pneumonia in goats by clinical symptoms. The study was carried out on a total number of 80 goats with respiratory disorder that were brought to the veterinary clinic, affiliated to CTEVT at Krishnapur, Kanchanpur district during June to September months of 2009. Sick goats showing signs of pyrexia, serous, mucoid or mucopurulent nasal discharge, cough, moist and respiratory rales on auscultation of the lungs were diagnosed as pneumonic.
