Abstract: |
Socio - economic survey on proven soil fertility technology transfer from farmers to farmers was carried out on four agro- ecological research sites of Lumle command area on October 2002. The objective of the study was to evaluate the transfer of soil fertility management technologies to the farmers. The proven technologies, are "Plastic cover manure in a ditch for fast decaying, gives high percentage of nitrogen'', "the use of 50% manure and 50% chemical fertilizer gives better yield as well as low cost of production in comparison to the use of chemical fertilizer" and "roots left of leguminous crops in the fields by using stem cutting method at the harvesting time gives belier nutrient lo the next crops", were evaluated in terms of technologies transfer from farmers to farmers…………… |
