Abstract: |
A field experiment was conducted during 2001/02 and 2002/03 to study the response of three rice varieties to seedling age under various N levels. Treatments were three seedling age: 45, 55, and 65 days: three N levels that is 30, 60, and 90 kg N/ha. Grain yield decreased with increase in seedling age from 45 days to 65 days at all N levels for all the varieties. Rampur Masuli and NR601-1-1-9 performed better than Hardinath 1 when 55 and 65-day-old seedlings were transplanted at all N levels. |
