Abstract: |
For the success of the soybean intensification program in Indonesia, the availability of improved varieties suitable for each agro-climatic of soybean on wetland after rice, 14 soybean lines were tested in West Java, Indonesia during the 1988 dry season. A split plot design with three replications was used for each trial. Mainplots were with and without fertilizer (75 kgN + 100 kgP205 + 100 K20 .Per ha), and soybean lines were used as subplot. The average effect of fertilizer on yield was significant in Sukamandi, but insignificant in Plumbon. Three individual lines, namely: IAC 11, Lokon/29-1-10 and 1667/1682-III-1 increased in yield with 27%, 18% and 15% respectively, due to fertilizer. Variety Jidar and line B3362 p gave the highest yield on plot without fertilizer (1.6 t/ha) and with fertilizer ( 1.7 t/ha), respectively. Variety IAC 11 and line B3357 also gave a higher yield (1.6 t/ha) on plot without fertilizer. |
