| Abstract: |
A fie ld experiment was carried out dur ing the summer season of 2010 and 2011 to identify the
high yie lding and normal maturity rice variety at RARS Parwanipur, Bara. The experi ment
was conducted in RCB design having three repl icat ions. During both years, twenty four
entries were tested in Coordinated Var ieta l Trial Normal. Among the tested entries the top
grain yield was produced by IR70 182 -1 8PMI-40- 120 (2611 kg ha- 1
) followed by Sabitri
(2131 kg ha-1
) in 2010 wh ile IR83376-B-B-9 1-2 produced top grain yie ld (3931 kg ha- 1
)
followed by ADON-117 (3827 kg ha- 1
) in 20 11. In Coordinated Farmers Field Trial Normal,
IR7462- 195-1-3 -2 produced top grain yie ld (4000 kg ha-1
) fo llowed by YNI 850-7 16-I-5-I
(3066 kg ha- 1
) during 20 10 whi le IR70215-70-CPA-3-4-1-3 produced top grain yie ld (5688
kg ha-1
) followed by IR7772 1-93-2-2- 1-2 (4461 kg ha- 1
) du ring 2011. |
