Title : Performance Study of Ginger Genotypes for Better Yield at GRP, Salyan Material Type: printed text Authors: Chaudhary, D.K., Author ; Chaudhari, H.K, Author ; B.D. Paudel, Author ; D.R. Kandel, Author ; B. Chalise, Author Pagination: 208-211 p. Languages : English (eng) Keywords: Ginger genotypes, ginger variety selection Abstract: A field experiment on ginger (Zingiber officinale Roce) genotypes was carried out at
Ginger Research Program (GRP), Kapurkot, Salyan from 2061/62 - 2063/64 to
evaluate the performance of ginger genotypes selected from the continuous germplasm
evaluation for better yield. Seven genotypes including local were evaluated in
randomize complete block design with three replications. Treatments were:Z/-8506,
Z/-8504, Z/-8502, Z/-8503, Z/-9729, KK-1 and local as a check. All recommended
package of practices were followed during the experimentatopm. Result of the yield
performance revealed significant difference during 2063/64 with highest yield (39. 5tlha)
from the genotype Z/-8506 followed by 39.2 tlha of Zl-8504 genotype.Link for e-copy: http://elibrary.narc.gov.np/?r=247 Performance Study of Ginger Genotypes for Better Yield at GRP, Salyan [printed text] / Chaudhary, D.K., Author ; Chaudhari, H.K, Author ; B.D. Title : Study on soil amendments to manage rhizome rot disease of ginger Material Type: printed text Authors: A.K Chaudhary, Author ; D.R. Kandel, Author ; M.L Dev, Author Pagination: 255-258 p. Languages : English (eng) Keywords: Ginger, rhizome rot, soil amendments Abstract: Field experiments were carried out in 2004/05 to 2006/07 at Ginger Research Program Kapurkot, Salyan to assess the effect of various organic soil amendments to minimize the rhizome rot disease of ginger. Six different organic soil amendments were evaluated in a randomized complete block design (RCBD) with three replications. The soil amendments were agri lime, neem cake, mustard oil cake, agri lime + mustard oil cake, 'Timur' powder and 'Bojho' powder…………………..
