Title : Evaluation On Different Cultiv Ars Of Oat For Maximum Fodder And Seed Production On Station Material Type: printed text Authors: Shrestha, K.K., Author ; N. P. Shrcstha, Author ; N. P. Bhattarai, Author Pagination: 163-164 p. Languages : English (eng) Abstract: Fourteen cultivars of oat were evaluated at farm condition of Agricultural Research Station
Rasuwa for three years. The different parameter data on· agronomic, production and
phenotypic characters were recorded and analyzed to determine the most suitable cultivars of
oat for winter forage production. The cumulative result revealed that the fodder biomass
production of oat was significant difference (Presult among the years. The maximum fodder production was obtained from 83! NC
I9 03 yielded I4. 63 GM mtlha and 2.94 DM mt!ha. The lowest production was .fi·om NARK-I
(PAK) 7.39 mt GM/Iza and I .3I mt DJ\1/ Iza. Similarly the highest seed yield was obtained from
A11 apzmi 4. 6 mt/ha and lowest was fowzd from Omihi I. 7I mtlha. Most of the cultivars of oat
except Canadian and NARC-I P AK was found suitable on farm condition of Rasuwa.Evaluation On Different Cultiv Ars Of Oat For Maximum Fodder And Seed Production On Station [printed text] / Shrestha, K.K., Author ; N. P. Shrcstha, Author ; N. P. Bhattarai, Author . - [s.d.] . - 163-164 p.
