There were altogether four different activities on finger millet (E. coracana Gaertn) varietal
improvement work under this project. Finger millet segregating populations. National Obsen ati11n
Nursery (NON-H) Initial Evaluation trail hill set (IET-}1) and coordinated varietal trail hill set
(CVT-H) I \\'hich \\ere tested in different locations of mid hill of Nepal. Most of the experiment.
were conducted under relay condition in order to select I screen shade tolerant genotypes .

There v ere 12 .Genotypes tested including Kabre kodo-1 (std.Check) and local check in CV rH(
Relay)set. This experiment was conducted at HCRP, Kabre.AGD Khumaltar, ARS. Pakhribas
and GRP, Salyan in relay condition and at mono at ARS(Hort.) Dailekha. Genotype GEo
