Title : Effect of Liming on Large Cardamom Growing Son of llam District Material Type: printed text Authors: Shree P. Vista, Author ; Neelam Subba, Author ; Niranjan P. Adhikari, Author ; Purushottam P. Khatiwada, Author Pagination: 216-219 p. Languages : English (eng) Keywords: Large cardamom, liming, soil reaction Abstract: A field experiment was conducted at Fikkal VDC of flam district with an objective to see
the changes of soil reaction due to liming at different dose of agricultural lime in large
cardamom declining areas. The experiment was conducted in a randomized complete
block design with four treatments and replicated four times. Soil samples were
collected and analyzed with SMP buffer for lime requirement. Initially the soil pH was
4.99 and it increased up ·to 6. 77 in the plots treated with maximum limit of lime. Soil
reaction was found increased from the initial values (4.99) in the soil treated according
to the intended level.Link for e-copy: http://elibrary.narc.gov.np/?r=249 Effect of Liming on Large Cardamom Growing Son of llam District [printed text] / Shree P. Vista, Author ; Neelam Subba, Author ; Niranjan P. Adhikari, Author ; Purushottam P. Khatiwada, Author . - [s.d.] . - 216-219 p.

Title : Studies on sustainable soil fertility management on rapeseed Material Type: printed text Authors: R Malla, Author ; Shrestha, S., Author ; H.P Timalsina, Author ; Chaudhary, B.P., Author ; O.N Chaudhary, Author Pagination: 128-134 p. Languages : English (eng) Keywords: Acidic soil, integrated nutrient management, liming, rapeseed yield. Abstract: An experiment was conducted at Oilseed Research Program, Nawalpur Sarlahi during 2007-08. It comprised of three activities. It was laid out in RCB design with various treatments and various replications. Preeti variety of tori was used in the experiments. In activity titled integrated nutrient management practice for sustainable toria seed yield, seeded on Kartk 3, data on siliqua per plant, seeds per siliqua and seed yield were statistically significant. The maximum 185 siliqua per plant was recorded by the treatment in which recommended dose of N, P2O5 and K20 (100%) + Boron (1kg ha-1) were applied. Similarly the maximum 13.6 and 13 seed per siliquae were recorded in which recommended dose of N, P2O5 and K20 (100%) + Sulphur (30 kg ha-1) and N, P2O5 and K20 (100%) + Boron (1kg ha-1) were applied respectively…………………..
