All together five activities were conducted during 2001 and six activities during 2002 under lentil varietal investigation program to identify stable high yielding, bold seeded, disease resistant and early genotypes suited to the existing cropping system. Among the tested genotypes in observation nursery, 19 were selected in 2001 and 10 were selected in 2002. In international drought tolerance nursery, four genotypes showed good performance and eight genotypes were found superior in early set international nursery during 2001………………………… |
