| Abstract: |
Resistant genotypes and cultivars against Ug99 and yellow rust were scaled up and promoted in farmers fields for increased genetic diversity, Elite genotypes identified resistant were BL3503, BL323S, WKl 182, WK1481, NL971, WK1023, BL2879, BL2739 and BL2818. The genotypes WK1444, WK1581, BL3128 WK1023, WK1320, BL3587 and NL1004 recorded seedling susceptibility and adult plant resistance. The cultivar, WK 1204 released as yellow rust resistant is preferred by farmers and has increased coverage. Pasang Lahmu is liked mostly at Ratnechur of Myagdi district and is still showing durable resistance to yellow rust............ |
