| Abstract: |
Varietal Display and various experiments like Initial Evaluation Trials (JET) and Coordinated Farmers' Field trials (CFFT) on wheat were conducted at on-station and outreach sites of HCRP (Hill Crops Research Programme), Kahre during winter season of 2008 and 2009. The weather condition for wheat was unfavorable in 2008 as compared to 2009 because of drought. The result shows that in Varietal Display the average grain yield was found 316 and 834 kg/ha during 2008 and 2009, respectively . The maximum yield of Varietal Display was found in BL 3502 of 1170 kg/ha and in BL 3623 of 1900 kg/ha respectively during 2008 and 2009. During 2008 in Initial Evaluation Trial (IET) most of the agronomic traits except Days to Heading were recorded non-significant................... |
