Farmers participatory trials such as Coordinated Farmers' Field Trial (CFFT) and Farmers' Acceptance Test (FAT)) were conducted during two successive wheat growing season of 2008-09 and 2009-10 including four to six different wheat varieties/genotypes in collaboration with District Agriculture Development offices and different NARC research stations at different geographical regions. CFFT was conducted according to standard recommended practices of wheat at farmers' field; however, FAT was grown on farmers' field based on their own practices....................... |
