The study on factors affecting adoption of new modern verities of rice released after 1990s was conducted in Sunsari and Mahottari districts of Nepal during 2011. The districts were selected purposively based on the potentiality of rice production and accessibility through outreach sites of Nepal Agricultural Research Council (NARC).
