Alternate wetting and drying (AWD) trial was conducted at National Rice Research Program (NRRP) Hardinath, during summer season in 2007, 2008 and 2009 to study the performance of rice varieties under AWD system and conventional irrigation system. Significant difference was found for days to heading, maturity and unfilled grains/panicles in 2007 among the tested rice varieties under conventional irrigation system and AWD system in 2007. Highly significant difference for grain yield t/ha, tillers m2 under all irrigation systems was found in 2008……………………………… |
