Abstract: |
Pratylenchus penetrans and P.crenatus often occur together in the field. The damage potential of P. penetrans to several field crops is well known whereas the damage caused by P. crenatus on the field crops is said to be minor or nonexistent. An experiments was carried out in two different soil pH 5.5 and 6.5 to investigate the influence in the population of P. crenatus (Pc) and P. penetrans (Pp) when inoculated juveniles artificially in the following Pc:Pp ratios: 0:0, 100:00, 75:25, 50:50, 25:75, and 0:100 on maize in growth chamber at 20º C. The experiment was laid down in a RCBD with five treatments having eight replications………………. |
