Yarsha watershed encompasses four village development committees viz. Namdu, Gairemudi, Kabre and Mrige. The total area of the watershed is about 5338 ha and the altitude ranges between 1000 and 3000 metres above sea level (masl). The vegetation within the watershed area is highly diverse. The lower altitude area is dominated by Shorea robusta and Pinus roxburghii and the higher altitude dominated by Quercus species……….. |
