Field experiments were conducted during the rainy season of 1994, 1995 and 1996 at the Rice Research Program, Parwanipur under rainfed lowland conditions with the objective to find out the effect of seedling age on grain yield of three rice genotypes Radha 11, RP 1017 and RD 21. Seedling up to 65 days old did not reduce the grain yield of these rice genotypes. Days from seeding to maturity increased with the increase in age of seedling. The results suggest that farmer can use older seedling of these genotypes under rainfed lowland conditions………….
