Abstract: |
The present study describes method for cryopreservation of milt of carps, indigenous Sahar (Tor putitora) and rainbow trout (Onchorynchus mykiss) for a period of 2-4 days. For collection of milt healthy and robust male with best characteristic were selected, wiped with clean and soft cloth. The milt was collected by stripping the belly. The milt was diluted in the cold extender in a ratio of 1 :4 (milt: extender) then transferred into 0.5 ml straws (French straw} in a beaker and kept into refrigerator……….. |
