In order to understand prevalence of soil fungi and their population in different tillage practice in rice- wheat system, soil sampling, isolation and identification of fungi was done during 2000-01 and 2001-02 rice season and 2001-02 and 2002-03 wheat season. Rice-wheat system covers 500,000 ha and produces five million tons of food in Nepal. Several researches on foliar disease in rice and wheat have been done but Iittle attention has been paid to soil borne pathogen and fungi…… |
