Grounonut on-farm Trials are one of the main activities of NARC/CLAN/ICRISAT Collaborative research to dessiminnate improved technologies to the farmers. In 1996, On-farm trials on Groundnut were conducted at five locations of five districts and two trials on response of gypsum, pressmud and lime on confectionery type of groundnut variety 'Janak' were conducted, at two locations of two districts. In On-Farm trials treatments were High input practice (HIP), Low input; practice (LIP) and Farmer Practice (FP). The mean yield of all locations revealed that there was 39 %pod yield increased due to hiqh input; practice while the yield was increased by 20% when low input practices were followed over farmer practices. In response of Gypsum,Pressmud and lime trials on Groundnut the mean pod yield of locations showed that there was yield increased by 43.7%, 25%, 18.7% over control with the application of Gypsum,Pressmud and lime respectively.
