Abstract: |
Among foliar diseases of groundnut early leaf spot and rust are wide spread and considered economically important in Nepal. A nursery comprised of fortynine groundnut genotypes was conducted under natural field condition at Nawalpur to evaluate against early leaf spot, late leaf spot, rust and bud necrosis diseases. Among tested genotypes none was found resistant to early leaf spot. However, the genotypes ICG-10450, ICG-1710, ICG-MS-42 and ICGV-91247 were found moderately resistant (3.0.score) to early leaf spot. All the testted genetypes showed very low level of disease reaction (0 to 2.7 score) to late leaf spot, rust and bud necrosis(BND). |
