This experiment was carried out at Agriculture Research Station (Horticulture), Dailekh during the years 2001 and 2002. The objective of this study was to identify the appropriate planting date of Red Creole onion sets for maximum yield of both biomass and bulb during off-season. Onion seeds were sown in the individual nursery beds in the last week of January. They were lifted in the first week of June and were selected and stored well until the planting weekly intervals on July 26, August 3,10,17,24 and 31 in the main field…… |
