In order to determine and recommend the optimal dose of two major chemical fertilizers: nitrogen (N) and potassium (K₂0) for particular environment and particular potato variety during 1998 to 2000, a field experiment was carried out at Hattiban Research Farm, Khumaltar having low nitrogen, medium organic matter and medium potassium and high phosphorous conditions. The relative response of potato crop cv Desiree a highly nutrient responsive and widely grown potato cultivar of Nepal was evaluated with four different levels of nitrogen (0,50, 100 and  150 kg/ha) and four different levels of potassium (0, 30, 60 and 90 kg/ha)  fertilizers…..
