Abstract: |
'l'oria (Brassica compestris var. Toria) and Rayo (Brassica juncea ) are the most oilcrops of Nepal. They are popularly grown in terai , inner terai and midhills of irrigated and rainfed areas. ORP had conducted cordinated farmer field on toria and rayo and technology production demonstration on toria and rayo on the farmers field of Sarlahi district. The result of CFFT's torihaa revealed that PT - 507 B p roduced highest seed yield (650 kg/ha) followed by PT_30 (600 kg/ha) Table-1. Similarly CFFT hayo result showed that Krishna produced highest seed yield (450 kg/ha) followed by Pusa bold (400 kg/ha)Table -3. In technology production demostration (TDP) on toria and rayo result revealed that 0.682 kg seed yield/ha was found in improved practice while 0.466 kg/ha seed yield in farmer practice, which was 46.3 higher yield than farmer practice (Table -2) in TDP rayo, 500 kg seed yield was obtained in improve practice while 450 kg seed yield was produced in farmer practice while 450 kg seed yield was produced in farmer practice which is 11.1% higher yield than FP (Table - 4). |
