| Abstract: |
Varietal investigationon Toria, Mustard and yellow Sarson was carried out at Regional Agriculture Research Station, Parwanipur since 1986. Bhawani, Vikas, PT - 30, PT - 507 B, Toria - A, T - 9 & SALS of Toria yielded 1140 kg/ha, 1052 kg/ha, 1045 kg/ha, 1025 kg/ha·& 958 kg/ha,respectively.Mustard varietiesPusa Barani & Kranti consistently produced higher yield ( 901 & 878 kg/ha)over standard checks Pusa Bold & Krishna.Six varieties of yellow sarson were tested. The local variety was found equally good as tested varieties SS - 75 & s - 5. In farmer's field, PT - 30 was found the top yielder followed by Vikas,PT -507 B & SALS. Mustard variety Pusa Bold gave the highest yield among the tested varieties (Kranti, Krishna and Pusa Barani) in farmer's field. |
