Abstract: |
Several experiments such as NON, lET, CVT and FFJ' were carried-out at different locations under field and various climatic condition during two successive summer season 2005 and 2006 to develop high yielding, disease resistant and fanners preferred buckwheat varieties. There was no significant difference in combined grain yield in CVT and lET however, Acc.#2223 and GF-5099 produced the highest grain yield 3589 kglha and 2375 kglha followed by sample #6-1 (3362 kglha) and GF-5283 (2164 kglha) in bitter and sweet CVT respectively. The promising buckwheat genotypes GF-5063 and Acc.#2223 might be recommended for the cultivation under farmers condition. |
