A total of 3 sets of experiment in the year 2002 and 4 sets in the year 2003 was
conducted to identify high yielding agronomically superior genotypes. Coordinated and
international upland observation Nursery (IURON) experiments were conducted at
.-l.RS/Belachapi and RARS/Nepalganj. Three successful backcrosses were done with
Ghaiya-2 and F 1 was evaluated at NRRP/Hardinath. Following agronomically superior
high yielding genotypes were identified against check. Ghaiya-2 and local check Bagari.
