Abstract: |
With the objective of identifying high yielding maize genotypes for Karnali region, twenty-six mai ze genotypes collected from Karnali region were tested in spring season at on-station and farmers' fields of Agricu ltural Research Station Jumla and wi nter season of 2012 at National Maize Research Program, Rampur, Chitwan. High ly significant differences among the tested genotypes were observed for days to 50% tasseling and s il king in both of the locations. Grain yield differed significantly at NMRP Rampur and highly significantly in Jumla. The genotypes namely KKT-POP, KKT-03, KKT-1 4, MGU-08 , Kamali Pool White and Kamali Pool Yellow produced higher grain yield at both the locations, Jumla and Rampur. Ganesh J produced the highest grain yie ld in Jumla. |
