Abstract: |
This study was carried out at Agriculture Research Station, Dailekh for two consecutive years from 2001/002 to 20021003. The main objective of the study was to find out the appropriate level of crop distance for seed crop of 'Mino Early' radish. Treatment consisted of fow levels of crop distance (45 X 45, 45 X 60, 45 x 75, and 45 x 90 em). They were tested in randomized complete block design and replicated five times. Seeds were sown in the 111 week of October in both year of the study. The crop distances significantly affected the seed yield/ha, where the level contributed to the significantly highest seed yield (2070.475kg/ha) than that of rest of the spacing. On the score of total seed yield/ unit area and insignificant differences in 100 seed weight, the growers be suggested to adopt the first level of crop distance for maximum seed production of 'Mino Early' radish. |
