| Abstract: |
Mungbean yellow mosaic disease caused by Mungbean yel~ow mosaic Gemini virus (MYMV) is an
important disease of mungbean and other legumes of Nepal. The virus is identified by e-DNA
hybridization analysis. This is the first report of identification of MYMV virus by e-DNA .
hybridization analysis in ·the country. Among the fifteen mungbean line~ screened in 1998 and 1999
summer season at GLRP, Rampur and ORP, Sarlahi, three lines VC 6370, VC 6369 (53-97) and VC
6370 (21-16) were found resistant at both locations |
