Abstract:	A total of 220 rice genotypes included in National Rice Bacterial leaf Blight Nursery were evaluated for bacterial leaf blight resistance in the 1996 wet season. The screening nursery was conducted at Tarahara, Hardinath, Panvanipur and Bhairahawa. None of the test ge.notypes showed resistant reaction to the disease over all the locations. Disease intensity at Tarahara was very high. Excluding Tarahara location, 33 rice lines rated resistant reaction over the rest three locations ..
