Abstract: |
Five species of ticks mainly Boobhilus microplus, Rhipicephalus appendiculatus, Hyaloma spp., Hemophysalis spp. and Ixodes spp. were collected from cattle of eastern terai region. Four genera Boophilus, Hyaloma, Rhipicephalus, and Ixodes were found as vectors for blood protozoan diseases. Occurrence of blood protozoan disease coincided with a peak vector activities in the summer and rainy season (April- August). |
