Abstract:	Frozen semen samples of bull produced and distributed for artificial insemination (Al) from Animal Breeding and AI Section, Khuma/tar were collected from Kathmandu and Lalilpur districts and examined for abnormalities of spermatozoa. Eosin-Nigrosin stain was used to examine the sparmatozoa. The examination revealed 38% motility, an average of 56% live and 44% percent dead spermatozoa. Head abnormalities were found 4% whereas tail abnormalities were 6%.
