Abstract: |
Samples offeed stuff were collected jhnn fil-e-development regions (~ltlze comlll)' u11d we1 e analyzed .fvr nutritional values. Nutrient digestibWty of di.fferenl ingrediems by Rolw, Labeo rohita was carried out -to develop low cost fish feed. Rohu with all average weight of 10.5 g raised in plastic tanks .were fed at 3% of the body weight. Their faces 1rere collected for a week to determine of apparent digestibility of d1y matter and nutriem (Protein andfat) in the diet. Feed stuff of a particular kind showed wide variation in their ~utrient -composition (protein. fat, ash and moisture) due to variation in variety, culture practices, geography and so on. Soybean was the most digestible (84 %) with an apparent protein digestibility (APD) mlue. Rice barn results in the highest APD value (7 1 %) and followed by n·heat barn (62. 6 %) among the test ingredients but low protein. Labeo rohita was able to utilize the soybean and mustard oil cake efficiently as dieta1y protein sources. Similarly Labeo rolzita efficiently utilized rice bran and wheat bran at less than 30% inclusion.fevel in the diet. |
