Abstract:	This paper highlights the major achievements of outreach research program conducted at outreach site of ARS, Cobra during 1998/99. The objectives of" the project were to compare and verify the performance of promising 'varieties and technology under farmers management condition. To provide farmers an opportunity to select technology and select and multiply varieties preferred hy them according to their needs. In maize HMON-99-12A. HMON-99-58. HMON-99-14A. HMON-99-llA. & Observation nursery on bulk materials trials in rice und buckwheat varietal trials were carried out. The yield and earliness differences among entries were observed. ln l4A: POB 845 C5, BA 96903 +N. TL96902 SINTETICO SEQUlA BA 886, BA 96902 +N and POB 800 C5 were observed earl) and tit in maize/Yyheat or barley or garlic cropping pattern. likewise in 5B: CMT 9790217 and CMS 979031 also observed early. Similarly in 1 1A : all four testing promising genotypes produced higher yield. Similarly in EVT 16B: P 42 C9 X P 44 C 10 and POB 44 C 10 were also high ) yielding genotypes.
