Abstract: |
There were altogether five different activities under this buckwheat investigation project. CVTbitter.
CVT sweet. lET sweet, lET-bitter, NON sweet and NON bitter. The experiments weretested the three location i.e. ARS .Jumla (2990 mast), Agri. Botany Division Khumaltar and ARSKabre ( 1740 mast). I.n CVT-Bitter there ' ere 9 genotypes tested, Genotype local bitter ( 1592.8),Acc.#2223 ( 1506.5) Acc.#2227 ( 1418) were found superior among the tested bitter buckwheat
lines a ARS Kabre and genotypes local buckwheat (2277 kg/ha) Acc.#2223 (2122 kg/ha) and GF-
216 (2087 kg/ha) respectively.
In CVT-Sweet 9 genotypes were tested including. Kabre sweet and IR-I 3 Buckwheat in square
lattice design. Genot. pes GF-5099 (1247.9 kg/ha), #85603 (11 16.4 kglha) and GF-5274 (1093.1
kglha) were found promising at ARS Kabre and genot, ypes GF-5289 (699.5 kg/ha), GF-5006(645.68 kg/ha) and GF-5194 (587.15 kg/ha) were superior at ARS Jumla.
Similarly in lET a total of 9 for bitter and 12 genotypes for sweet checks were tested at ARS.
Kabre and ARS Jumla. From this experiment genotypes GF-5139 (1340.4 kglha), GF-5122
( 1142.1 kg/ha) and IR-13 (I 041 kg/ha) in JET (sv.,eet) Kabre and Genotypes local bitter (2132.1
kg/ha), MY-2-27-1 (2053.1 kg/ha) and Sample #6-l were high yielding under lET (Bitter) at ARS
Kabre. Similarly genotypes local bitter, sample #6-1 and MY -2-27-1 were high yielding at ARS Jumla
under lET (bitter) set.
In buckwheat NON (sweet) a. total of 40 genotypes including checks were tested at ARS Kabre,
ARS Jumla and AGO, Khumaltar. Among the tested genotypes Kabre sweet gave highest yielding.
Then other tested genotypes in NON sweet and high yield at ARS Kabre. The experiment data
were not analyzed at ARS Jumla due to high (100%) sterility. |
