to 25 kg respecrively. Regcu·ding !he birlh !Jpes. 7 3 % of animals "·ere horn single and
the res/ (27%) was multiple (nrinning und lriplel). ~;fultiple born cases in mid hl/ls u:ere
found beuer rhan-lo"· hills (36% vs 19%). The new born kids suckled !he morhers as long
as they allow. Weaning is not practised to shorten kidding inrerval and 10 improve 1h_e
maternal health condition. Age at first mating of doe was 6 to 7 months. bw in mos1 oft he
cases it1ras pro_longed up ro _1 8 months. The normal castration age u·as at one year and
