Abstract:	Blood protozoan diseases constitute the greatest hindrance to the growth of cattle production in the Tarai region. of Nepal. A study was conducted to find the prevalence of protozoan diseases in the eastern Terai. Microscopic examination of blood smears were collected from 83 cross bred dairy cattle having high fever. It revealed 11 (1 3. 25%) positive for Theilaria sp, 8 (9. 64%) for Babesia !JP and 5 (6. 02%) for Anaplasma !Jp.
